I happened upon the violin world by good fortune . It has changed my life immeasurably and I have never looked back .
A desire to know and learn more about the violin , led me on a passionate journey of discovery, from the tentative step of taking classes in my native Ireland, to studying in Internationally renowned European schools: Cremona in Italy, the centre of classical violin making, and in England at The Newark School of Violin Making. the power house of 21st Century violin making and repair, to the present day and running my own workshop.
Today with a diploma in violin Making and Repair from the Newark school, and years of practical experience, I continue to develop my craft. It gives me great pleasure to spend my days restoring and making instruments.
