Violin Measurements

The Following measurements are used when making new instruments, and are a general guideline.
A lot of older violins do not conform to many of these contemporary measurements.
You have to take the character of the original instrument into account when making a reproduction.
I have made a separate measurements table further down the page of old instruments which you may care
      to consult.
